I LIKE IT WET

The ability to resist all kinds of weather conditions with wet hair, even though everyone stubbornly wants you to “dry your hair”.

In the midst of a serene, snowy winter landscape, this 30-minute outdoor improvisation unfolds as a dance of contrasts. Against the backdrop of the cold Canadian winter, the artist has ingeniously devised a system where water gently drips from above. At the heart of this performance, participants engage in a dialogue of personal opinions and life suggestions, exploring the complex tapestry of human connection. A hairdresser, used as a prop, becomes a symbol of personal defiance, as the artist steadfastly refuses to dry her hair despite the well-intentioned advice of friends spanning years. This immersive experience beckons viewers to contemplate the resilience of individual choice within the delicate interplay of nature and human relationships.
